Easter Pagent 2008

The girl above Madelyn is 1 of the 10 Virgins and the girl on the left played Mary Magdalen. The scene with the 10 Virgins is Madelyn's favorite part.

This man played a Rabi on the temple steps. Sam did not want anything to do with him until he started asking him if he played baseball. Then Sam showed him the baseball on his shirt and was not afraid to talk to him. After he walked away Sam says to us..."Santa" pointing to the man. I guess he kind of looks like him.My sweet little blessings with the man who played Jesus. He was so gentle and kind.

Here are the 3 musketeers taking a break on the way back to the car. It was a beautiful spring night and the air was brisk.
The greatest gift our Heavenly Father gave us was his Son Jesus Christ to be our Savior and Redeemer. Seeing this man with my children even though he was an actor made my heart full of gratitude and love.

One of our favorite traditions is going to the Easter Pageant at the Mesa Arizona Temple. The Easter Pageant the story of Jesus the Christ reenacted from the King James Version of the Bible telling the story of Jesus Christ's birth, ministry, selfless death, and miraculous Resurrection.

This year we sat up close and it was such a wonderful experience. The kids could really see the performance and the spirit was so strong. Before the show the actors walk around the audience and we were able to get some really neat pictures. After the show the kids were able to meet the man who plays Jesus. Even though he is an actor his spirit is so strong. My heart is so full of the gratitude I have for my Savior. It is such a wonderful experience and a blessing to be able to see!
