This was my sweet husband after he had cast his very important vote bearing his "I Voted Today" sticker! Stefan was determined to get his citizenship by November 4, 2008 so he could vote and he did it! He studied all the issues and was all prepared to cast his very first vote as a citizen of this wonderful country. For most of us we take for granted our voting right, going through this process made me realize what a great honor we have as citizens. I feel very blessed that I was with Stefan through this journey of accomplishing his dream. First Time Voter!!!

YAY for Stef! We are SO proud of him. I thought of him on that day...thinking he finally had the chance to do what so many of us take for granted.
